I am really enjoying using this bacon as a flavor for cooking greens. For frying , I thought it was a little salty.

Superb. Thicker than I expected, but good. I "cubed" some, put them in a vacuum sealed zipper bag from FoodSaver, and used it two nights ago in a sauce for another dish. I fried others and ate it. Really good. I’ve already ordered and stored 2 more packs.

I never really cared about thick bacon before … til I tried these. Now, I don’t want anything else! I usually cut up, seal, and freeze, about 2 or 3 of these. I’ve eaten it as bacon, and I’ve used them (chopped) in a ground buffalo and cheese dip with chips. Added a little bit of the fat as I cooked the dip as well. Nice! Give it a shot. You can get the buffalo from Jimmy P’s as well.

Never thought I’d like thick bacon. Never got it willingly anywhere else. Didn’t read the description of this product when I purchased and kicked myself when I saw it. But when I MADE it … I don’t think I want regular sliced bacon anymore (except for jalepeno poppers and other bacon wrapped stuff). I diced up some, vacuum sealed it, and saved it for something else.
