Filet Mignon Pasta Carbonara is a decadent twist on the Italian classic. Tender seared steak is tossed with pasta in a creamy Parmesan sauce for a rich, indulgent dish that’s perfect for a special dinner.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb fettuccine or spaghetti
- 1/2 lb filet mignon, cut into thin strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high. Sear filet mignon strips for 2 minutes per side until browned but tender. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Whisk eggs and Parmesan together in a mixing bowl.
- Return pasta to skillet with garlic. Remove from heat. Pour egg and cheese mixture over pasta and toss quickly to coat.
- Add seared filet mignon strips and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
