  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the kielbasa and sear until browned on both sides. Transfer it to a plate.
  2. Add the onion to the same skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until softened. Add the apples and continue cooking for 4–5 minutes, until just tender.
  3. Return the kielbasa to the skillet. Add the BBQ sauce and cider vinegar, then toss until everything is evenly coated, glazed, and glossy.
  4. Serve directly from the skillet with crusty bread or over rice.
